Ambassador Bappa Lawal Toro
Executive Director (Finance & Administration)

Ambassador Bappa Lawal Toro was born on 12th April, 1951 in Toro, Bauchi State of Nigeria where  he had his elementary school education before proceeding for his Senior Primary and Post Primary education at senior primary school and Government Secondary School both in Bauchi respectively. He attended Kaduna Polytechnic where he obtained his Diploma in Commerce in 1971. He is an alumnus of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria where he obtained his Certificate  in Administrative Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration. He also attended University of Birmingham, England where he obtained his Master of Social Science Degree in Development Administration and he is currently working on his thesis towards the award of PhD Degree in Public Administration and Policy Analysis.
 
A seasoned Public Administrator, his working experience has taken him through several organs of government both at State and Federal levels where he has held several managerial positions. Agencies of Government that have benefited from his invaluable experience include Ministry of Trade and Industry of the then North Eastern State Government in Maiduguri, Federal Ministry of Trade, Bauchi State Water Board, Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation and the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs where he was appointed as Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of Portugal in January 2000. He was General Manager/Head of Administration of the Corporation before his present appointment as the Executive Director of Finance and Administration of the Corporation.
 
He is happily married with children.            

 

Mr. Oluyemi Adekunle Akinyemi
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (OPERATIONS)

Born on February 28th 1955, Mr. Oluyemi Adekunle Akinyemi had his post primary education at the Methodist High School, Ibadan between 1966 and 1971 from where he proceeded to the Norwich College, Norwich in England  where he obtained his Ordinary National Diploma in Business Studies. He is also an alumnus of the City of London Polytechnic and University of Ado-Ekiti where he obtained his ACII Diploma and MBA degree respectively. He has passed the Fellow of the Cartered Insurance Institute of London (FCII) Examination since 1995.
 
Mr. Akinyemi is a seasoned insurance practitioner. His experience has taken him through many reputable insurance outfits both within and outside the country where he has held so many managerial positions including that of the Managing Director/Chief Executive. Insurance outfits that have benefited from his professional experience include; N.E.M Insurance Co. Ltd, National Employers Mutual, London-England; Corporate Alliance and General Insurance Co. Ltd, BAICO Insurance PLC, Asset & Liability Insurance Company Ltd, and Prime Trust Insurance Company Limited where he was the Managing Director/Chief Executive before his present appointment as the Executive Director of Operations of the Corporation.
 
Mr. Akinyemi is happily married with children.
